At My Smart Contractor, operated by DBO Ventures, we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for individuals with disabilities. This policy outlines our practices to ensure that all customers, visitors, and staff can access our services equitably and with dignity, independence, and respect.

We are committed to ensuring that our policies, practices, and procedures for delivering services are consistent with the following principles:

• Services are provided in a manner that respects the dignity and independence of individuals with disabilities.

• Opportunities for individuals with disabilities to benefit from our services are equal to those of others.

2. Definitions

(a) Disability: Includes any degree of physical, cognitive, sensory, developmental, or learning disability, including conditions that require the use of assistive devices, service animals, or support persons.

(b) Service Animal: An animal trained to assist individuals with disabilities, or an animal identified through documentation from a regulated health professional as necessary for disability-related assistance.

4. Providing Services to Individuals with Disabilities

We are committed to providing excellent service to individuals with disabilities by:

• Communicating in ways that accommodate their disabilities, including offering alternate formats upon request.

• Ensuring access for those using assistive devices. If a specific device poses a safety concern or is otherwise restricted, we will provide reasonable alternative measures.

• Permitting service animals on our premises unless excluded by law, in which case alternative arrangements will be made. Documentation may be requested if the need for a service animal is not readily apparent.

• Allowing support persons to accompany individuals with disabilities and ensuring access to services. In rare cases where a support person is required for safety reasons, we will notify the individual and discuss options.

5. Notice of Temporary Disruptions

In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to facilities or services commonly used by individuals with disabilities, we will promptly notify the public. Notices will include:

• The reason for the disruption.

• The anticipated duration.

• Alternative facilities or services, if available.

Notice will be posted on-site, on our website, or communicated through other reasonable methods.

We will train all employees and contractors providing public services on accessibility standards and this policy. Training will include:

• Understanding the purpose of accessibility laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

• Methods of interaction and communication with individuals with various disabilities.

• Proper procedures for assisting individuals with service animals, assistive devices, or support persons.

• Steps to take if an individual is having difficulty accessing services.
